1. According to the protection requirements, if the purpose of protection is to prevent pan-alkali, rust, etc., the use of silicone-type stone curing agent can generally achieve the effect; if the purpose of protection is comprehensive waterproof and anti-fouling ability, generally use Organic fluorine type stone curing agent can achieve the effect.

2. If it is a dense structure of stone, such as white crystal, large white, etc. It is recommended to use oily stone curing agent. Because the solvent component of the solvent is strong, it can be further protected into the interior of the stone; for the general stone structure, oily and water-based stone curing agents can be used.

3. If it is a restaurant, stove, driveway or other places that are easily polluted, it is recommended to use organic fluorine-type stone curing agent to improve the anti-fouling ability of the stone surface.

4. If it is outdoor, silicone type curing agent can be used, but the product is required to have UV resistance, water resistance and acid resistance.

5. If it is wet or grouting process installation, it is recommended to use the special curing agent for stone bottom to protect the bottom and four sides. The selection of the bottom curing agent should pay attention to the alkali resistance of the curing agent, and can not affect the bonding fastness between the stone and the cement.

6. Now many customers like to make film-type curing treatment on the surface of rough surface stone. This kind of project recommends using film-forming stone curing agent made of silicone as raw material. This product has good hardness, high bonding strength and UV resistance. It is not easy to yellow; do not easily use acrylic sealant (film forming type). This product is mainly designed for bottom seal. It often peels and discolors on the surface of stone.

7. If it is a black stone and other darker stone, because the stone is easy to change color after using the protective agent, so when choosing the stone protective agent, you must first do the small sample test, and comprehensively select the performance, effect and requirements.

Second, the considerations for the selection of stone protective agent

1. Don't just look at the product's manual. Any product must be tested on-site to determine if it is optional.

2. When selecting the product, do not be easily blinded by the surface water-repellent effect of the product. The surface effect is only temporary. If the residual part of the surface is removed, the test will be the real effect of the product.

3. When selecting, pay attention to whether the stone curing agent will change the color of the stone after use, whether the surface residue is easy to remove, and whether it affects the brightness of the stone surface.

4. The construction process is one of the important criteria for the selection of stone curing agents. If the process is too complicated, it will directly lead to an increase in cost.
