Naughty soft lights that attract people to play

Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen founded Forsythe+MacAllen in Vancouver in 1996, a design studio that manages multiple products. Before and after the two of them got a master's degree in architecture in 2000, their project was mainly designed and built houses in Canada and the United States. These projects have won many national awards.

In 2001, Forsythe + MacAllen won the design competition for 200 houses and public facilities in Aomori, Port City, Honshu, Japan, and won their first prize. The competition was judged by Tadao Ando and Jean Nouvel, attracting more than 4,000 players from 86 countries.

In 2003, they were selected as members of the Young Architects Forum of the Architecture League of New York and won the Ron J. Thom Award from the National Arts Council of Canada. They also received the gold medal of the DBEW International Interior Design Competition organized by Hansse Group and won the first prize of Singapore LighTouch Design Competition sponsored by Flos.

This naughty soft light has a feature that attracts people to play with it. This three-dimensional structure of the rogue lights can be rotated on the hand and put into various shapes. It can be flexibly transformed into a variety of shapes, just like marine creatures. It is a prize-winning product in the “soft” of Mollo’s innovative product line. The concept of soft is to create many different shapes to suit all living environments. The improviser's soft light is only suitable for indoor use and must not be wetted.
