Southwest Aluminium Successfully Developed the Largest Domestic Aluminum Alloy Pre-stretching Plate

Reprinted on a large-scale non-ferrous net: On June 28th, we learned from Southwest Aluminum's 50th anniversary workshop that the largest domestic super-wide super-thick and thick aluminum alloy pre-stretching plate independently developed by SWA has passed the national aviation and aerospace professional Review. After supporting the aerospace vehicle, the product can effectively reduce the weight of the latter and improve the service life and safety performance.

According to reports, in the aircraft production supporting process, the use of large-scale integrated aluminum bearing members to replace the traditional assembly of composite aluminum bearing members is the core competitiveness of the current European and American aviation manufacturing R & D. However, this large-scale integrated aluminum alloy bearing member had only two foreign companies in the world. Through three years of project research, Southwest Aluminum technicians have successfully developed ultra-thin and extra-thick aluminum alloy sheets this year. Their overall performance levels are comparable to those of similar foreign counterparts, filling the gap in domestic aerospace support.

Zhang Jilong, general manager of Southwest Aluminum, said that at present, Southwest China has developed into an ultra-large aluminum processing enterprise with the most comprehensive strength in China, providing product support for the “Changzheng” rocket and the “Shenzhou” spaceship all the year round. Southwest China will then upgrade its products and products. Technological innovation provides product support in domestically produced “big aircraft” projects, automotive aluminum and other fields.
