US anti-dumping finals for China optical brighteners

On March 20, 2012, the US Department of Commerce issued an announcement to make anti-dumping final decisions on optical brighteners originating in China and Taiwan (see table below).

According to relevant legal procedures, the US International Trade Commission will make a final ruling on anti-dumping industry damages on May 3, 2012. If it is a positive decision, the US Department of Commerce will issue an anti-dumping order on the products involved.

On April 20th, 2011, the U.S. Department of Commerce conducted anti-dumping investigations on optical brighteners originating in China and Taiwan, China. The customs codes of the products involved were 32042080.00, 29336960.50, 29215940.00, 29215980.90, and November 3, 2011, the US Department of Commerce. The anti-dumping ruling on the case was made, and an anti-dumping tax of 106.22% to 141.08% was imposed on Chinese companies involved in the case.
