Vertical Centrifuge Maintenance and Maintenance Manual

Maintenance and maintenance of vertical centrifuges (hereinafter referred to as centrifuges) include maintenance and maintenance of the main engine and rotor, as well as anti-pollution measures, disinfection and sterilization.
Maintenance and maintenance of vertical centrifuges (hereinafter referred to as centrifuges) include maintenance and maintenance of the main engine and rotor, as well as anti-pollution measures, disinfection and sterilization.

1, host maintenance and maintenance:

(1) The centrifuge uses AC220V, 50Hz power supply, the voltage is stable, and the grounding is reliable. If the voltage is unstable, the regulator should be equipped.

(2) The centrifuge is mounted on a sturdy, shock-proof and level surface.

(3) There is a certain space around the centrifuge to keep it well ventilated.

(4) The centrifuge housing is kept clean and dry.

(5) The centrifuge chamber is kept clean and dry.

(6) The motor is firmly fixed.

(7) The rotor seat and the drive shaft are not deviated.

(8) The rotor is fixed in position and the fixing screw is tightened.

(9) After using the centrifuge, open the door cover, wipe off the condensation on the wall of the centrifuge chamber to prevent frosting, and then dry naturally. In the event of frost formation, remove the rotor, close the door cover, set the temperature to 25 ° C, open the door cover when the temperature reaches 20 ° C, wipe off the condensate on the wall of the centrifuge chamber, and then dry naturally.

(10) There is a rubber sealing ring at the contact between the upper part of the centrifugal chamber and the door cover, and the contact between the rotor seat and the bottom of the centrifugal chamber. The deformation should be observed frequently to prevent external heat from infiltrating. If deformation or aging should be replaced in time.

(11) The time interval between power-off and power-off shall not be less than 5 minutes.

(12) Regularly check whether the door cover pneumatic support rod is working normally.

(13) Regularly use compressed air to remove dust from the ventilating window and condenser of the centrifuge to ensure the ventilation effect and the heat transfer effect of the condenser.

(14) When the centrifuge is not used for a long time, the rotor should be taken out and the anti-rust oil should be applied to the rotor seat and the drive shaft to prevent the rotor seat and the drive shaft from rusting.

(15) Special safety measures must be taken when separating toxic, radioactive and contaminated samples.

2, rotor maintenance and maintenance:

(1) Regularly inspect the oxide layer on the inner and outer surfaces of the rotor. If there is peeling, corrosion, severe scratching, deformation or crack, stop using it.

(2) Pre-cool the rotor before use. After the separation is completed, wipe off the residual liquid on the inner and outer surfaces of the rotor and the centrifuge tube with a clean soft cloth, and dry it for use. Rotors and centrifuge tubes that are not in use should be taken out of the centrifuge chamber and stored in a clean and dry place. If the rotor is not used for a long time, it should be coated with a layer of paraffin.

(3) The centrifuge tube used must guarantee the quality, and should pay attention to its cleaning, disinfection and maintenance.

(4) In the use of the rotor, attention should be paid to the sample filling amount and the tightness of the sealing of the centrifuge tube. It should be checked frequently whether the sealing ring is intact. If aging and damage occur, it should be replaced in time to avoid leakage. In the use of the rotor, leakage may occur due to damage, overfilling or poor sealing of the centrifuge tube. After the shutdown, the rotor is removed, cleaned in time, and sprayed with a protective agent.

(5) In the use and storage of the rotor, it should be protected from bruising, scratches and scratches.

(6) If the corrosive solvent is in contact with the rotor, clean the rotor in time after shutdown, wipe and spray the protective agent.

(7) When removing the horizontal rotor with the hood from the centrifugal chamber, the rotor should be handled gently to prevent the hood from being deformed and causing imbalance. When not in use for a long time, the centrifuge tube should be taken out of the rotor and placed separately.

(8) When the average density of the separated samples is >1.2 g/mL, the rotor is to be used at a reduced speed.

(9) When using a stainless steel centrifuge tube, the rotor should be used at a reduced speed.

(10) The service life of the rotor is 4 years.

3. Anti-pollution measures:

If the centrifuge has been used to separate radioactive samples or pathological samples, the following steps should be taken to prevent contamination.

(1) Clean the centrifuge and rotor surface.

(2) Take out the rotor.

(3) Remove the motor seal and gasket and clean.

(4) Clean the centrifuge door cover, centrifuge chamber and drive shaft.

(5) Cleaning the motor and the foreign body near the rotor seat.

(6) Clean the rotor and rotor hood.

4. Disinfection and sterilization:

Centrifuges and accessories are made of different materials, and disinfection and sterilization must take into account the compatibility of the disinfectant.

PVC is the most widely used member of the vinyl family. Common applications include chemical processing tanks, valves, fittings & piping systems. PVC The outstanding performance of PVC includes high mechanical strength, high hardness, good chemical resistance, electrical insulation, good printing and welding. PVC modified varieties including high polymer PVC, chlorinated PVC and PVC / ABS alloy. It`s working temperature is 0℃~+70℃.

  • Advantages:
♦ High mechanical strength, high hardness
    ♦ Good electrical insulation
♦ Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance
    ♦ Good printing and welding
    ♦ Flexibility adjustable
    ♦ Inflame retarding

    Disadvantages:
    ♦ Poor thermal stability
    ♦ Poor processing properties
    ♦ Poor impact resistance,
♦ Poor aging resistance and cold resistance
